    "This is projected data, based on World Bank PIP (September 2022 version) and estimates from [Mahler, Yonzan and Lakner (2022)](https://openknowledge.worldbank.org/entities/publication/54fae299-8800-585f-9f18-a42514f8d83b). The projections are constructed by using growth rates from the [June 2022 Global Economic Prospects (GEP) database](https://openknowledge.worldbank.org/bitstream/handle/10986/37224/9781464818431.pdf) for poverty up to 2024 and country-level average annual historical (2010\u201319) growth rates for the remaining years."
