577089 Methane emissions per person tonnes Methane emissions per person are calculated by Our World in Data based on emissions data from Jones et al. (2023) and population data from HYDE and the UN World Population Prospects. Jones et al. (2023) give methane emissions in standard metric tonnes per year.
