The repression and intimidation by the government or its agents was so strong that the entire period was quiet.<br>1:  Yes, frequent:  There was systematic, frequent and violent harassment and intimidation of the opposition by the government or its agents during the election period.<br>2:  Yes, some. There was periodic, not systematic, but possibly centrally coordinated --- harassment and intimidation of the opposition by the government or its agents.<br>3:  Restrained.
