FAOSTAT agri-environmental indicators aim at facilitating national and regional agri-environmental trend analysis and to support member countries with country-level reference information. The GHG emissions used in the computation of the FAOSTAT Emissions Intensities indicator are limited to emissions generated within the farm gate. Additional emissions from upstream and downstream production and consumption processes and trade are excluded.
